Brooklyn Kayak Polo is hosting an awesome polo event this Sunday at beautiful Lake Sebago, and they’re extending a special invitation to NYKP. See their announcement below!
==================
Hiya,
If you haven’t gotten the news yet, this upcoming Sunday August 6th, we’re tossing our goals, boats, and other KP gear into a rental truck and heading north…
…to Lake Sebago!
We’ll be playing kayak polo, BBQ’ing, and drinking (definitely not in that order). It’s a full day of fun, and a mini-vacation we all need.
It’s only $7. If you don’t want to take the short Metro-North ride up there, we’re helping to coordinate car pools, too.
Click here to register. About 20 of us have already RSVP’d, and not so many spots remain.
(Even if you don’t want to play–which is nuts, because no one minds capsizing in the lake–there are many other things to do while there.) If you do play, our kayak polo manager Nathalia is setting up the teams.
Hope to see you all there. Feel free to bring a friend or family member or two (you’ll have to register them, also).
Note: You have to be an ACA (American Canoe Association) member to visit the lake/camp, and there is a $10 fee that they themselves charge to keep the lake and camp clean and beautiful.
Thanks!
