PLEASE SIGN-UP EARLY: A minimum of 8 people are needed to schedule this session. If less than 8 people are signed up 48 hours before the session, the session will be cancelled.
Most Saturday sessions are friendly exercises and games, which are intended to be fun for both veterans and newcomers. This year we plan to hold an “intro” session most months, during which we hope to introduce new players to the game, as well as fundamental kayak polo skills, such as ball handling, useful strokes, and rolling. If you don’t have experience with kayak polo, or with paddling a closed cockpit kayak with a spray skirt, let the host know so that we can give you some extra pointers and attention during as the session gets going.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are not already an ACA member, you’ll either need to join (which you can do at the session) or bring the $5 single-event fee (see below), which is required for our club to retain it’s status and insurance with the ACA.
If arriving later than 5:30pm, please let someone know so we can open the door… or be prepared to wave from the door and wait till someone sees you!
